 Dr. Michael K.  Fishman, M.D. is  board certified in general surgery. He obtained a B.A. in Biology from Pennsylvania State University and his M.D. from Temple University School of Medicine in Philidelphia, PA. He Completed his General Surgery Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philidelphia, PA.  He continued his training as a Fellow in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.  Dr. Fishman's clinical activity focuses on Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery along with Advanced Laparoscopic General Surgery, including both standard and single incision laparoscopic surgery. He has a special interest in Foregut Surgery which includes the surgical treatment of gastroesophageal reflux and paraesophageal hernias and achalasia.
