 Michael Rothkopf, MD FACP, FACN
is a caring, compassionate physician with outstanding credentials. He has been a member of the faculties of two major medical schools and has contributed to many scientific publications, including 4 textbooks. He holds a patent on the use of growth hormone to augment nutritional repletion.
Dr. Rothkopf graduated from Syracuse University and the Eastern Virginia Medical School. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then attended a fellowship in Nutrition and Metabolism at The Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He is among a select number of physicians that is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nutrition. He has been a member of the medical staff at St. Barnabas Medical Center for more than 20 years.
Dr. Rothkopf combines his experience in Internal Medicine, Nutrition and Metabolism on behalf of his patients. He regularly consults on critically ill, hospitalized patients who require nutritional support. His outpatient practice focuses on the management of metabolic disorders such as obesity, diabetes, lipid disturbances and malnutrition.

.jpg) Caryn Borger, MD is a Board Certified Doctor of Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. She received her BA from Barnard College, Columbia University and her Medical degree and Residency in Internal Medicine from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Her Fellowship in the specialty of Endocrinology was completed at New York University. She is an active member of the American College of Endocrinology, the Endocrine Society, The American Thyroid Association and the American College of Physicians. Dr Borger has hospital privileges at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Overlook Hospital. Dr. Borger participates in residency training at both hospitals. Dr Borger regularly gives lectures on a variety of endocrine topics including osteoporosis, diabetes, hypertension and lipids. She has published articles on a variety of medical topics. She has been practicing endocrinology in the state of New Jersey for the past 3 years.
